We’ve been through many iterations of the design for redframer and think we have a reasonable solution for the launch.

Our development attention right now is on public demos for the eidetic streamer, because you just have to see it to understand it. We need a lot of guidance on the intuition/benefit issues.

Following that, we will start to build the product, and we hope that our prospective users will have adjusted it for maximum fun. We are taking chances in a lot of areas. The general rule in startups is to innovate in only one area and use trusted conventions for all else. We’re going the other way, making every element the best it can be. None of the controls are stock. All of the internal physics will be a bit unusual.

The Forum

We’d like as much critical feedback as possible, so we have set up an advisors’ forum at the redframer server. If you would like to see and critique the complete design, please go there and join. The forum itself is visible only to members, except for a tiny section.
